What a morning! 🌞❤️ These compassionate mothers—Betsy, Jessica, and Vanessa—and their kids generously gave a couple of hours of their day to help us pull weeds and trim hedges. Tasks that often get pushed to the bottom of the to-do list when you’re caring for a medically complex child. Not only did they prime our lawn canvas for future improvements, but they also took the time to get to know our Simon! Together, we sang a couple of his favorite songs. His new entourage joined him for a bike ride through the neighborhood. The kids played catch with him and built blocks alongside him. What a beautiful morning filled with helping hands, new friendships, music, play, and connection. ❤️ Thank you, CC4C, for organizing this special morning for our family, and thank you, Betsy, Jessica, and Vanessa, for so generously giving us these gifts—not just of your time and hard work, but of your time with Simon.
