Rant to retire? Don't sleep on this👇 The bond market's flashing warning signs. 🚨 PREPARE. What should you do now? 👉 Know how much risk you're actually taking. A portfolio that felt great when stocks only went up can feel very different when stocks and bonds start simultaneously misbehaving. 👉 Know what cash you need. Having enough accessible money can help keep a market downturn from dictating when you sell investments. 👉 Stress-test your retirement. What happens if returns are lower than expected? Inflation stays high? Healthcare costs jump? You retire into a bear market? 👉 Know where you can cut without making retirement miserable. Know which spending is essential, which brings you joy and which you could temporarily turn down. 👉 Diversify beyond whatever worked yesterday. Different asset classes, countries, currencies and sources of income don't respond in tandem. 👉 Know your numbers. Headlines don't destroy retirement plans. Lack of planning does. This is investment education, not investment advice. Talk with an appropriate financial professional. But know what's happening well enough to ask better questions and whether your retirement plan is prepared for it. Want to start figuring out how all this could affect your retirement plan? Start with the 10 Vital Retirement Numbers. 🏳️‍🌈 Comment or DM NUMBERS (then check your DMs). 🪩 Share with someone who needs to see this. 🪩 Follow for more gay retirement tips. #gayretirement #trumptrade #trumpeconomy #retirementplanning #gaymoney

This is bigger, not better👇 Social Security may be getting its biggest raise in four years. That sounds fabulous until you realize the reason that raise may be coming. EVERYTHING COSTS MOST, AND NO ONE WHO CAN DO ANYTHING IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER This matters whether you're already retired or retirement is still 5, 10 or 20 years away. Here’s where we think a lot of retirement plans go sideways: They assume inflation will behave. They plug in 2%. They project that forward 30 years. They call it a plan. We don't. When we do reviews with people, we run many scenarios because your retirement needs to work when inflation's 3%+, markets are down and healthcare costs are up. But before you can run any scenario, know one important number: Your annual retirement spend. Not what a financial advisor says. Not 70% or 80% of your current income. What it might actually cost to live your retirement life? If you need $60K a year, that's one retirement plan. If you need $120K, that's an entirely different retirement. Once you know that number, test what 3%, 4% or 5% inflation will to it over the next 20+ years. That's a real retirement plan. Want other numbers you should know before quitting work? 🏳️‍🌈 Comment or DM NUMBERS for a copy of our 10 Vital Retirement Numbers guide (then check your DMs). #gayretirement #retirementplanning #retireabroad #internationalretirement #retireearly

This market feel fragile to you?👇 The stock market's near record highs. But underneath those highs, we’re watching a few things: 1. The 10-year Treasury staying above 5% or continuing higher. Higher yields put pressure on stock valuations, borrowing costs and highly leveraged investments. 2. The Fed being forced back into more rate hikes. If inflation starts accelerating again and the Fed has to tighten harder, liquidity gets more expensive. 3. Market breadth getting even narrower. If fewer and fewer companies are responsible for keeping the S&P 500 moving higher, the market becomes more dependent on those companies continuing to deliver. 4. AI spending or earnings expectations cracking. When one theme is doing this much of the heavy lifting, disappointment can matter far beyond just a few tech stocks. 5. Consumers pulling back. If investment accounts stop growing, withdrawals slow and wealthy households spend less, that could become a very real drag on economic growth. 6. Stress in credit markets. We’re watching for widening credit spreads, liquidity problems and forced selling. They can be signs that higher rates are breaking something underneath the surface. To be clear, we’d rather watch the plumbing than panic over the headlines. This is financial education, not investment advice. Talk with your investment professional before buying, selling or changing your investment strategy. But if you want to dive deeper into current conditions and their effect on your retirement goals, let’s chat. 🏳️‍🌈 Comment or DM KIK to get on our calendar. #gayretirement #gaymoney #retirementplanning #trumpeconomy #inflation
