In with us today was this beauty but what is it

Another VW T4 in with us for a full underbody restoration, with the customer wanting it done properly so it’ll need minimal maintenance going forward 👌 Last photo as it came in ⸻ 🔩 Full Strip Down Included: Exhaust system, mounts & rubbers Heat shields Fuel tank straps Underbody wiring loom (unclipped, not removed) Spare wheel & carrier Tow bar Wheels Front & rear brake shields Engine under-tray …basically everything needed to gain full access ⸻ 🧼 Cleaning & Preparation Using a combination of chemical, mechanical, and laser cleaning, we strip everything back — removing dirt, grime, and any loose/flaky previous coatings. Chassis grommets are removed ready for full internal wax/oil injection later on. ⸻ 🛠️ Treatment & Coating Any areas needing extra attention (rust removal etc.) are dealt with properly — not covered up. We then apply a tintable polyurethane chassis coating, with this one finished in VW Tornado Red 🔴 ⸻ 🔧 Reassembly & Finishing All removed components are cleaned, restored, and refitted. ✔ New stainless steel fastenings used where possible ✔ New brake shields fitted (painted & sealed) ✔ Brake calipers painted Once fully built back up, we apply two coats of hot wax for long-term protection. ⸻ 💥 The Result A properly restored and protected underside — built to last, not just look good.
