For example, a $1,980 driver may have a schedule like: Day 1: 6:30 AM–9:30 AM + 11:30 AM–2:30 PM Day 2: 2-hour CDL exam at the DMV Less time traveling. Fewer hotel nights. Less money spent on fuel. Fewer days requested off work. Complete your training on Day 1 and, when scheduling allows, test at a Minnesota DMV on Day 2. IMPORTANT: This program is ONLY designed for highly skilled, advanced drivers with extensive experience, knowledge, and ability within the CMV industry. If you have never shifted a manual transmission or backed a trailer before, this program is NOT for you. They’re driving dump trucks, concrete mixers, landscaping trucks, utility trucks, and local equipment where synchronized manuals or automatics are extremely common.
