Life in the Shire 👩🏼‍🌾🥰 (✨️but with a sense of impending doom✨️) . things I've been working on: new system for our community toy library, afterschool retro gaming club to drag the youth out of unmoderated toxic environments and into a fun social gaming space, some sewing nights (first monday in feb we're sewing fairy wings 🧚‍♀️), swapping out software, browsers, google/Microsoft suite and operating systems to de-vest from American tech... and just trying to stay ontop of my own life. . i actually think it's more concerning if someone is aware of what is happening around the world and not feeling upset/stressed/angry. . #hobbitcore #offgrid #solarpunk #softlife #cottagecore

it's 2025, we can study and work from the garden, get woken up by our bread baking robots that run off energy from the sun, upcycle sheets and curtains into new outfits, shop local, support community theatre, and get our books, toys, and seeds from the library. we have the future we've always dreamed of, we just need to prioritise it. sometimes that means music festivals, no-buys, and stay-homes. sometimes it means making the best choice you can at the shops available to you. #solarpunk #softlife #hobbitcore #cottagecore #countrylife
