🌙 Daily Marama with Tamara Maramataka: Tangaroa Whakapau Energy: High Energy Date: 6 October Today’s Tangaroa Whakapau brings high energy so if you’re feeling irritated, overstimulated, restless, or overwhelmed, bring yourself back to the present. 🤍 🌿 Ground the Energy • Slow your breathing • Put your feet on the whenua • Drink wai with intention • Wash or clean your body • Watch the manu • Look up and appreciate Ranginui • Move your body instead of holding everything in You don’t have to carry all that energy inside. Breathe. Move. Ground. Observe. Come back to now. Sometimes regulation is as simple as reconnecting with your body, the whenua, and what is directly in front of you. ✨ The Urban Wayfinder book and this video are available at Xabilities.app or through the link in our bio. Xabilities.app also includes: • Online journal • Nervous-system tools • Free Maramataka resources Aroha nui, Tamara 🤍 #Maramataka #moon #Grounding #journaling #SelfRegulation

🌙 Daily Marama with Tamara Maramataka: Tangaroa Whāriki Kiokio Energy: High Energy Date: 7 October Creating a relationship with nature is important for me as a neurodivergent person. As someone with autism, I see the taiao as a form of natural rongoā that helps me reconnect with myself, regulate, and build greater independence in how I move through life. Nature gives us so many free tools. The whenua. The trees. The wind. The wai. The manu. The sky. Building that relationship can help us understand ourselves better and create more sovereignty in how we support our own wellbeing. And with that comes responsibility too. I think that relationship is beautiful. 🤍 🌿 Today’s High-Energy Advice • Get outside into the taiao • Put your feet or hands on the whenua • Go for a walk • Move your body instead of holding the energy in • Drink wai • Slow your breathing • Watch the manu • Look up at Ranginui • Focus on the task directly in front of you • Reduce unnecessary stimulation • Come back to the present moment High energy can sometimes feel like overwhelm, irritation, racing thoughts, or too much sensory input. The goal is simple: Move the energy. Ground yourself. Come back to now. For me, these practices have helped change the way I understand my autism, my capabilities, and my relationship with independence. ✨ To find The Urban Wayfinder and more information, visit Xabilities.app. Aroha nui, Tamara 🤍 #Maramataka #Neurodiversity #journal #Grounding #Nature
