The Balancing of the Chromatic Scales explores the tension between our organic essence and the all encompassing technological manipulation of modern existence. In this multi-media assemblage, a vibrant tie-dye head bursts through a window into a world of rigid circuitry and ivory keys. This figure represents the imagination and the trickster archetype, that rebellious part of the human spirit yearning to break free from external conditioning. The piano keys and circuit board motifs symbolize the programmable nature of contemporary culture, suggesting our emotions are often synthesized by the technology and media surrounding us. As a legally blind artist, I use these bold marks and high-contrast textures to navigate my own visual field while inviting others to feel the weight of the material world that often goes unnoticed. This piece serves as a call to recognize the inner rebel and consider how much of our emotional landscape is truly our own. By bridging the high-vibrancy world of festival art with contemporary sculpture, I turn the challenges of perception into a primary driver for artistic liberation. #art #Assemblage #foundobjects #tiedye #3dart
