"FINALITY IN BLOOM" 🥀 what do you think? Have you ever thought about what would happen if plants evolved to take over everything? I recently visited a conservatory showing some gothic styled plants. It was absolutely beautiful. I spent the entire day reading every plaque. learning about the different species and how they’ve adapted to survive. And that’s when I did what I’m best at🥰 daydreaming☁️💭. My thoughts spiraled into an entire story in my head. I started thinking about how robots could take over the world and what might be left behind after humanity is gone. That’s how I came up with this piece. It's a spider lily. by far the hardest flower I’ve ever painted btw🤣 piercing through a curious robot that was harvesting a smaller version of it, maybe just to pick a flower to admire it like humans or as an attempt to study the flower. Shes surrounded by pitcher plants, more spider lilies, and one of the deadliest flowers in the world, wolfs bane the robot becomes the victim of the very species it was trying to understand. The flower forges into a sword, piercing her chest, and shes glowing red with errors. The glowing red is where her heart would be if she was human. Beautiful and a lil unsettling. I call her finality in bloom. I feel like tiktok has been blocking my reach lately, I am not sure why. so hopefully tiktok pushes this out to people❤️ and if it's reached you, say hi!
