Learning to become my own lover changed everything about how I approached partnership. Some things genuinely helped me come home to myself. Some were very much a “well… that didn’t work” But the biggest shift was realizing that calling in the divine union I wanted wasn’t about obsessing over finding the right person. It was about becoming deeply devoted to my own life. Creating beauty for myself. Honoring my standards. Healing the places that were still looking for love outside of me. Staying devoted to my dharma and the dreams that made me feel alive. And ironically, the less I made partnership the center of my universe, the more available I became for a relationship that actually felt aligned. Which one of these have you tried? Soooo here’s what was ACTUALLY going on behind the scenes… There were about 100 bees🐝🐝🐝 on stage with me during the show!! Crawling all over the DJ equipment, flying all around the stage! The theme of the show was FIRE OF LOVE 🔥❤️ and I got stung on both my right and left shoulders during the show 😮‍💨 A little bit of sting, but worth it for a lot of medicine! (RIP Sweet bees that gave me your stingers 🪦🐝🥲) It definitely started off a bit distracting feeling them crawling all over me, and needing to swipe them off the buttons before I would press them, or blowing them off the mic before picking it up, but honestly, after about 10 minutes into the show and getting both of these stings and realizing that it wasn’t too painful… We dropped into a pretty deep flow state together, and I could feel them working with the prayer! The performers were so on point (even though many of them got stung as well) and honestly it felt like deep expression of art from our hearts! We buzzed with them with the full crowd humming and buzzing along to close the show and it felt so powerful 🙏🏼🩵🐝 As I’ve been reflecting on the medicine of this experience, I cannot help but feel the deep synchronicity, for the fact that we have been raising money for the bees🐝 for the last three months with @inheritancecollective! Directing our resources toward what really matters! I feel honored and in awe of this happening this weekend… It felt highly symbolic and significant, especially because it was my first weekend dropping in with my new team (aka our HIVE) @iamsophiachristine and @sprinkley, which was a BLAST and makes me so excited for this chapter ahead and all the magic to come with these upcoming albums, tours, and more!
