I watched WTTW's Chicago Stories piece on the Chicago Fire and they covered "the Blob" when it was still sinking into the ground. I was pretty excited to see an artifact being consumed back into the earth but to my chagrin the museum moved the blob to a prominent and supported place. Which I suppooooose is the right move. Visitors can now learn more about the melted heap of metal and search for some visible remnants of what the items used to be. . 🏛 Chicago History Museum 📍Chicago, IL 🕑 Tue - Sat 9:30 - 4:30 🕑 Sunday 12:00 - 5:00 🎟Free, General Admission Tickets Required 💸Adult ticket prices start at $24 #YDDChicago #Chicagohistory #ChicagoHistoryMuseum #HistoryMuseum .
