This vase is about to go to its new home so heres one final vid! :) This is actually something I made for an art trade that I'm doing with a friend that I made as a child! We met through our One Direction fangirl pages when we were kids and stayed somewhat connected over the years! I'm so excited to gift this piece to her and I'm also extremely excited to receive what she made for me! She is an extremely talented artist and did a landscape portrait of me and my cat under a tree! I haven't seen it yet but I just know I will love it! Im very happy with how this vase turned out! Its meant to be the green cousin of my chaos vase! This vase was wheel built in 2 pieces! Its a relatively small vase that I might have been able to do in one piece but I ended up doing it in split pieces so I could have more control over the shape of the neck since I'm not super skilled at throwing big yet! Overall I'm super happy with it and I think once I'm out of this crazy whirlwind of life I'm in, I'll make another vase! #green #pottery #handmade #frog #pattern

yesterday i had a rare throwing sesh at the studio!!! i usually throw at home and use my studio time to hand build or glaze, but i really felt like playing in the clay so i made this little swirly bowl! at home i dont have a bat system bc my wheel doesn't have pins, so it was super weird throwing on a bat again! i had to get used to the wobble! it felt so good to use a brent wheel again though :) overall, it was fun but i think i prefer throwing at home where i can step away and sit on my couch for a little if i need to. being a chronically ill potter is not for the faint of heart...or i guess it is, POTS joke ayo. but i had fun and i like this little swirl i achieved :) #pottery #spiral #ceramics

here's another look at the lidded jar i made! the clear glaze ended up a little weird looking but i really love the shape and design! this is the best fitting lid ive made yet! i threw it all in one piece, as a closed form, and trimmed it into a lid and jar :) i was kinda going for a scooby doo/ halloween-esque color scheme with the splatters! this is the best fitting lid ive made so far, wahoo!!🥳 #pottery #splatterpaint #spiral #ceramics #trinkets
