“He helps everybody out” 🥹 I met Pete and his senior rescue dog, Boss ❤️ Pete inherited Boss from his in-laws after they sadly passed away, and ever since, he’s become such an important member of the family 🥰 Pete told me that Boss has a way of helping everyone through life’s small moments and its biggest ones too. I wasn’t prepared for this cuteness! Meet Liam, Tegan, and their two dogs Gigi and Demi 🖤🧡 Gigi is a tiny Frenchie, while puppy Demi is a Frenchie cross American Bulldog, and together they’re full of personality. According to Tegan, one of Gigi’s favourite games is barking at the sofa until someone rescues one of her many balls from underneath it… only for her to push it straight back under again and start all over 😂🎾 Liam told me these two have been great for their mental health. After losing their previous dog, they lost the routine of getting outside and walking together. The noise this puppy makes when you scratch his ear… 😂 I met Callum, Charlotte and their 3 month-old Doberman, Bower, who is still figuring out exactly how his four legs are supposed to work 😂 As a puppy, Bower has apparently spent most of his time on his back or in some other completely crazy position lol. He’s also a huge fan of an ear scratch and has developed a very unique little pleasure noise whenever you find the right spot 😂 Callum said he loves seeing Bower learn a new trick or behave well, and feels super proud whenever he sees him making progress. “She can be a bit wary to strangers” I met Helen and her Australian Cattle Dog x New Zealand Sheep Dog, Wynnie. Helen told me that Wynnie can be quite wary of strangers, and sometimes growls or nips when she feels unsure around someone. She said this makes her feel safe though when out in public. At home, Wynnie has a habit of biting their sleeves and trouser legs. So many of their trousers have shredded bottoms! 😂 Wynnie has been challenging to train, but Helen says she’s a lot better now. And going through all of those challenges together has only made their relationship stronger. Helen even told me that she often feels like she doesn’t deserve her. Meet Cosmo the Shiba Inu - 95% angel, 5% chaos 🐶😇 His owner says he’s fantastic… except for the no recall and the stubborn streak that turns every walk into a negotiation 😅🤣 He said if there’s ever a problem, it’s only because he’s got too attached to Cosmo, and I think we can all relate to that a little bit! 🥰❤️ While we were photographing Cosmo, a lady came over and told me she’s been following me for ages, which is really cool! She was lovely and we ended up photographing her dog Luna after, so keep an eye out for Luna and her owner in the next video 😊 Random fact I found interesting…Did you know Shiba Inu has two meanings? “Shiba” can mean ‘brushwood’ in Japanese, referring either to the terrain they hunted in or the color of their coat. It can also mean ‘small’, which fits their size. “Inu” mean dog in Japanese. I can’t believe I met a puppy bull terrier! 🤍 I met Ann, Andy and their Bull Terrier puppy Moose 🐶 Moose is their fourth Bull Terrier, and they said they wouldn’t have any other breed At home, Moose has just about got the hang of the stairs, and Andy told me he has regular conversations with him whilst he’s doing his stuff around the house. He likes to think Moose understands every word he says. Don’t worry though Andy we all talk to our dogs 🙏 Andy’s also had people tell him that Bull Terriers’ faces don’t show much expression, but he couldn’t disagree more. To him, they’re full of personality and they definitely know how to show it ❤️ After photographing my first bull terrier the other week, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a puppy bull terrier in the park! He gave her a reason to go outside again Meet Alex and Guinness 🤎 Alex told me how amazing Guinness is with people and especially with children. When Alex lost her 14 year-old pug, who she described as her soulmate, she found it incredibly difficult. Guinness came into her life and gave her a reason to get outside, breathe in the fresh air and start finding those little moments of happiness again. She told me she loves that time with Guinness, just heading out together, switching off and disappearing into their own little world for a while. I met TWO Dalmatians! Meet Tracey, Hugo and Zara 🤍🖤 Tracey rescued Hugo when he was just 18 months old and he’s now 14, and 3 years ago, Zara came into their life too. Now 7, Zara had come from a bad home where she had been bred from in a crate in a kitchen. Tracey gave her the safe and loving home she deserved, and today she gets to spend her days alongside Hugo. Tracey told me she simply couldn’t imagine life without dogs. She couldn’t be without them. She loves all animals, but dogs have always had a special place in her heart ❤️ And if you’ve ever lived with a Dalmatian, you’ll may know exactly what she means when she says they’re HUGE food thieves…One day, Tracey and her partner came home to discover that an entire pot of chilli con carne had disappeared from the glass hob. Neither of them knew what had happened. They both assumed the other had cleared it away and put it in the freezer…It was only later they realised the truth!
