What happens when geometry stops following the rules? 👀📐    Impossible Geometries is now bending the rules in the Digital Immersion Gallery, where six interactive worlds bring lines, circles, colour and movement to life.    Think floor-to-ceiling projections, reactive floors and math that’s gone delightfully off-script. 🌀   #ImpossibleGeometries #DigitalImmersionGallery #ImmersiveArt #STEAMLearning #TELUSSpark

Do you think the North Star has been holding down the same spot forever? Not quite. 👀⭐ The North Star, also known as Polaris, is aligned with the North Pole in the Northern Hemisphere. Because of that alignment, Polaris appears to stay in one spot while the other stars move across the night sky. But here’s where it gets interesting: Polaris hasn’t always been our North Star. As Earth travels through our galaxy, the planets and stars slowly shift to different parts of the sky over thousands of years. That means the star we know as the North Star can change over time. For generations, the North Star has been important to many cultures around the world, helping people navigate and find their way across the land. 🌌 Curious about the stars? Join us for Indigenous Science Night on October 16 and learn more about the stars, navigation, and the night sky. 🌟 #IndigenousScienceNight #StonesStoriesStars #STEMLearning #NorthStar #TELUSSpark
