Book Review: The Alchemist's Daughter by @Tamara Price | Author 📚. Overall, I thought this book was a nice, easy read as it's a YA gothic fantasy and I thought that the world building wasn't too complicated to understand or comprehend. Our fmc Pax is a 15 year old who is preparing for her Ortus day when suddenly, she comes home one evening to find her parents missing. This leads to her leaving her home with her two companions Am and Felis to essentially go on a scavenger hunt while following clues that have been left by her father in the hope of rescuing her parents before it's too late. Pax also meets new friends along the way who decide to join her on this journey. The reveal at the end was a surprise to me as I didn't see it coming and if you're looking for a fun, easy read with no spice and purely focuses on the plot, then I definitely recommend this book. #Booktok #bookreview #thealchemistsdaughter #gothicfantasy #tamaraprice
