Most programs train your abs. This one retrains your body.link in bio to join the 30-day RIB FLARE REHAB challenge. Few days left to join before door closes! A tight psoas can pull your pelvis into an anterior tilt, pushing your belly forward (hello, pooch), flaring your ribs, and putting extra strain on your pelvic floor and low back. It’s also deeply connected to your stress response, so when you’re always “on,” it stays gripped. That’s why crunching harder and only doesn’t work. Did you know the psoas is called the muscle of the soul? It’s one of the only muscles that connects your spine to your legs, running from your spine, through your pelvis, all the way to your femur. And it’s one of the first muscles to grip when you sense danger. In a world of chronic stress, screens, sitting and survival mode, it never fully lets go. In Chinese medicine, the psoas lives in the territory of the kidneys, the organ that holds fear. Every time you felt unsafe, overwhelmed or unheard, your psoas gripped too. Over time? That becomes your baseline. Tight hips. Low back pain. Pelvic floor tension. Anxiety. Digestive issues. Menstrual pain. Feeling disconnected from your own body. Because the psoas doesn’t work in isolation. It’s connected to your pelvic floor, your diaphragm and your entire nervous system. You can’t release one without addressing the others. Inside the RIB FLARE REHAB challenge, we don’t just crunch our way to strength. We take a full 360, holixtic approach: 🤍 Build foundations: Breath that actually supports your core 🤍 Fascia and muscle release 🤍 Nervous system regulation 🤍 Functional strength that carries into real life So you can live in a body that supports you, without the pooch, leaks or low back pain. Try it: Find the trigger points (there are 3, and 2 are shown in the video). Start with a gentle massage using your tool, breathing fully and letting go with every exhale as you find the tight spots. Then stay in a tight spot for at least 90 seconds, using your 360 breath as your anchor, and roll to release. Mostly, explore what feels right in your body. Link in bio to join. Want the full routine that finally fixes your rib flare and pooch? If your ribs flare this is for you! The muscle no one talks about and why it’s one of the real key to fixing mom pooch and rib flare: the serratus anterior! Everyone keeps asking me why I include these exercises in my routines this is why! Everyone jumps straight to crunches and planks. But if you haven’t trained your serratus anterior, you’re missing the foundation your core actually needs to heal. Here’s what’s really going on: Your serratus anterior wraps around the side of your ribcage, connecting your ribs to your shoulder blade. It’s a postural muscle and postpartum, it’s almost always weak and forgotten. Why does that matter? Because your ribcage controls intra-abdominal pressure. And pressure controls healing. When your ribs flare out (which happens naturally during pregnancy as your body makes room for baby), your diaphragm can’t position properly. Your pelvic floor can’t respond properly. And your deep core, the system that actually closes the gap from diastasis can’t do its job. That’s why you’ll see a lot of these exercises on my routines :) Training serratus anterior helps pull those ribs down and in, restoring the ribcage alignment your core needs to generate pressure correctly and not leak it. This is why ab exercises alone don’t fix the pooch. You can crunch all day, but if your ribcage is still flared and your pressure system is dysregulated, you’re just strengthening a broken pattern. Fix the ribcage. Restore the pressure. Then the core can actually heal. Reminder everything is connected ✨ Link in bio if you want a step by step plan to finally fix your mom pooch & rib flare

Link in bio for a step by step program that actually fixes it all. STOP ❌stretching your psoas muscle to fix your anterior pelvic tilt. Stretching your psoas feels good… but it’s not the solution for your anterior pelvic tilt and that belly forwards that comes with it. Here’s what most people don’t realize: your psoas isn’t just tight but it’s often also it’s weak. When it can’t do its job, it grips and feels tight to protect you. And often your hip mobility is poor too, so your low back makes up for it by arching. Stretching a weak muscle doesn’t make it stronger. Anterior pelvic tilt is also a stacking problem. When your ribs flare up and your pelvis tips forward, your core can’t manage pressure well, so your low back arches and your belly gets pushed forward. That’s why I love this heel-raised squat ✨ Deep hip flexion under control strengthens your psoas at the end of its range while building real hip mobility. ✨ Heels up- gives your ankles more range and lets your knees travel forward, so you can stay upright without dumping into your low back and flaring your ribs. ✨ Weight stays on your midfoot and heels pulling you out of that “hanging on your hips” posture. ✨ Reaching the ball forward or progressing with a weight when ready brings your ribs down over your pelvis, so you’re stacked and your deep core switches on. Stretching creates a little length. Stretching is important. Strength, mobility and positioning teach your body where to stay and keep you connected. This squat is just one piece of the puzzle. Want the full step-by-step program that brings your ribs, core, hips and pelvis back into alignment?

Link in bio for a step by step plan to fix your ribs flare, leaking and mom pooch! Doors are open till Oct 10th to join my 30-day Rib Rehab challenge 🤍 doors are open till Oct 10th! If your ribs flare and your belly pushes out no matter how many core exercises you do, it might not be your abs or ribs. Stiff hips tip your pelvis forward, your low back arches, and your ribs flare up to keep you balanced. Your core gets stretched between them and can’t hold. Instead of forcing your ribs down, free your hips! When your pelvis can move, your ribs stack back over it and your core can finally switch on. Try these 3 moves consistently and watch what happens to your mom pooch. Save this for your next workout ❤️‍🔥

Tap Link in bio and I’ll send you a step by step program! Your belly still sticks out and you’ve done ALL the core work? It’s probably not fat. It’s probably not “loose skin.” It’s pressure with nowhere to go. When your ribs flare, your diaphragm and pelvic floor stop facing each other. Your pelvis tips, your back arches, your breath stays in your chest… and everything pushes forward and down. That’s the pooch. It’s literally a whole system compensating on so many ways. And it’s not just your core. It’s your feet, your hips, your psoas, your jaw, your breath, even how you stand. The good news? It’s a pattern, which means it can change. That’s exactly why I built RIB FLARE REHAB, a 30-day program that connects ALL the dots for busy mamas like you and me. Because I get it. I don’t have hrs to workout! This program is different than any other one because we zoom out and not just fix your ribs and isolated core exercises. We train the whole system from the ground up. Including nervous system & fascia! ✨ 20 minutes a day. No gym, minimal equipment ✨ A real progression: breath →release → mobility → strength → integration ✨ Beginner to advanced mods every single day ✨ Pre-recorded, so you go at your own pace (miss a day? just jump back in) ✨ Lifetime access Plus your bonuses: ✓ Live kickoff call Oct 11 + live Q&A at the end (recorded if you missed it) ✓ 4 full-length yoga + mobility flows + nervous system regulation ✓ The Warm-Up Lymphatic Flow I do every single day ✓ Daily guided meditation from @thewishcraft ✓ Habit tracker ✓ $450 PRIZES from my wellness favorite brads @dengobotanica natural skin care gift bag @haloral_official red light panel @wildling.shoes barefoot workout shoes! & free subscription to my app! There’s a lot of noise right now about who’s allowed to talk about the pelvic floor. The pelvic floor police is out what out 😅 So let me say this quickly. I’m not a doctor, a pelvic floor PT and I don’t claim to be an expert. I’m also not an influencer. I’ve dedicated my entire life to learning and studying the body. To movement as medicine. What I share is what I’ve embodied. 46 years living in this body, 30 years dedicating my life, my time and my resources to studying it. Dance, fitness, yoga, anatomy, pelvic floor. 25+ years teaching and working with other bodies. And what actually worked for me after my second baby at 42, when I was dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, leaking, the mom pooch, pain with intimacy and couldn’t find all the answers I needed anywhere else. So I connected the dots myself. Dove into the research. (I’m a closet nerd 🤓, it’s fine.) Everything I’ve trained in, everything I’ve lived through, everything I’ve pieced together that’s what I teach. What’s worked in my body, and in thousands of women’s bodies around the world. So if this resonates, wonderful. If not, leave it. Truly. If you’ve tried what I shared and it’s worked and you love it, if you’re tired of isolated fixes and long complicated workouts, and you want a system that connects all the dots, one that honors the body as a whole system, that includes fascia, nervous system, strength, mobility and ancient yogic practices, in 15 minutes a day Link in bio to join my rib flare rehab challenge waitlist ❤️‍🔥

If this sounds like you link in bio to join Day Rib Flare Rehab Challenge! A step by step plan to fix all of these and learn a new way of training that actually works for you! Doors close soon to join and then it’s gone! Anterior pelvic tilt. Ribs flaring. Holding your breath when you lift. Toes that don’t press into the ground. Here’s why it matters: your diaphragm, deep core and pelvic floor are meant to work as one system, like a pressure canister. When your ribs flare and your pelvis tips forward, that canister is out of line. Your deep core can’t switch on properly, so every time you lift (especially holding your breath), the pressure pushes out and down instead of being controlled. That’s why: • The mom pooch won’t budge, no matter how many crunches you do • Your lower back aches, because it’s doing the job your core should be doing • You leak when you jump, sneeze or lift heavy • Your workouts feel hard but you’re not seeing results You don’t need to train harder. You need to retrain how your body connects. Inside the 30-day challenge: 🫁 Week 1: Foundation. 🦴 Week 2: Release & Stacking, finding alignment. Close the ribs and find neutral 🔥 Week 3 & 4: Deep core and pelvic floor connection, from your feet up. Bring it into your lifts, progress so you move heavier without bracing or leaking 20 minute daily sessions, step-by-step, built to fit into real life. - you’ll also get 4 full length yoga, mobility and nervous system regulation classes and a beautiful daily guided meditation audio. - 2 live sessions and Q&A with me! (Recording provided if you can’t make it live) & $450+ in prizes!!! Everything lifetime access so you can keep the workouts and revisit as many times as you need. Link in bio to join and let’s rebuild your foundation so you can finally see progress and heal 💚 can’t wait!

Why is the biggest compliment you can give a woman that she looks younger than her age? The conditioning goes so deep because we grew up with nothing else. Think about it, who did we actually watch age? Almost every actress we loved in our twenties still has the same face. So a whole generation of us never saw what fifty, sixty, seventy looks like. It was edited out. And now we panic when we see it in the mirror. Am I right? I know I do. Meanwhile there’s a hundred-billion-dollar industry that needs you to believe your own face is a problem. Anti-aging. Anti-wrinkle. Anti-sag. Anti-cellulite. Anti!!! Meaning = Against. As if being alive in perimenopause or beyond was something to fight. And it keeps escalating… a cosmetics brand just sent influencers PR kits with surgical lines drawn on their faces, then offered a product to fake the results instead. Surgery or make up! That’s basically the only choices we have? In so many ancestral and Indigenous cultures, the elder woman is the most powerful person in the room. The one who holds the knowledge. And nobody is asking her to look 30, or telling her how great she looks for her age, or how she looks younger because that would honestly be a downgrade. So we basically took the wisest most powerful phase of a woman’s life and made it the phase she’s supposed to hide. I’m refusing this story. I’m not looking for a way to stop aging. I’m looking for women doing it out loud so I know where I’m going. I’m looking to exist as I am, in my body, at my age, without permission, surgery or make up to cover me up and hide. Im looking to feel great from the inside, to be healthy, alive, empowered, wise, strong. I want to be able to exist without having to feel I need to look younger or that I am not allowed to step into my best season yet of becoming an elder. Be honest, when someone says you don’t look your age, do you take it as a compliment?

Comment ⭕️ if you want the full routine. Constipation? Tailbone pain? An SI joint that only ever flares on one side. This one’s for you! Nothing about us is symmetrical. Your left lung is smaller to make room for your heart. Your ribs don’t match. One hip sits higher. Your organs are scattered off-centre. And our pelvic floors are no different. It’s a wide surface of 3 layers. Split it front to back and left to right and you get four quadrants that don’t carry never carry the same tension. You can have one side loose one side tight. That’s why kegels are never just the answer. Because you can have a tight and weak pelvic floor at the same time. There’s a reason for that. Your weight doesn’t sit evenly between your legs. Your diaphragm isn’t symmetrical either, and it always move in a beautiful symphony with your floor. Often most of us also live in a slightly extended spine, which loads the back half more than the front. So the back half ends up being the part nobody reaches. When it can’t release you get the aching tailbone, the flaring SI joint, the constipation that won’t budge. Try mixing up your stretches with asymmetrical positions like these and see if you can feel the difference. Ive been doing it for a while now and exploring asymmetrical postures and shifting my pelvis positions and it really feels so yummy. Huge release of the back body and pelvic floor. *Educational content, not medical advice. Check with your doctor or pelvic health PT before starting something new.
