Is Big Mac being a good boy? I mean he just wanted to give me a peck on the cheek, not eat my head…right?😂   Just to clarify, I do mean that jokingly, he would absolutely crush my skull and eat it if I let him😂. Remember, they’re trained, not tame, there’s a difference!   ~~~Our rescue gators are wild caught nuisance gators that would’ve otherwise been destroyed. The state of Florida destroys 8,000 “nuisance” gators annually, but we don’t have a nuisance gators problem but rather a nuisance HUMAN problem. 1k people a day move to FL, unsustainably developing the land, and a lot of ignorant people making a nuisance out of themselves. NEVER feed a wild gator, never have kids or pets near the water, and never swim in gator habitat! And of course, never attempt anything you see in my videos!   Remember guys, we support our sanctuary through social media, so if you’d like to help the animals (for free), please like, leave a positive comment, and share!! We greatly appreciate it and so do the animals! If you would like to donate to the care of the sanctuary animals, we greatly appreciate any support!! Stepping into the water with a huge gator! These are some clips from about five years ago when I worked down in south Florida. The first half of this video is me with Seven the gator, may the big guy rest in peace! Then I am working on some training on land with a few specific gators, which specifically doesn't include Mutely lol.   This is from five years ago back when I worked in South Florida at holiday park before creating my own animal sanctuary.   #Alligator #animals

GATOR SAFETY! Never feed a wild alligator, this is why! Once fed, they lose their natural fear of humans, and then if you don't have the food you might BECOME the food!   And reminder, we purposefully keep Stallone gnarly and purposefully don't train him so that he an example of why it's illegal to feed wild gators People see Big Mac and think gators are puppies, Stallone reminds everyone how dangerous gators can be and to never feed them in the wild. this is NOT a normal natural behavior but a direct result of being fed by humans and a great example of exactly why it is illegal to feed alligators in Florida. This is not a normal hunting response. This is a feeding response that he has learned over time and really exemplifies the dangers of feeding wild alligators in Florida. Normal alligators do not hunt like this, again, this is because of being fed by people!   ~~~Our rescue gators are wild caught nuisance gators that would’ve otherwise been destroyed. Self immolation seemed like a good idea at the time😂. I was out hiking and found two eastern diamondback rattlesnakes, which was SOOO cool and they’ll get their own video, but I bumped into a TICK BOMB. These are newly hatched tick larvae, all from the same egg mass, and they can sit clustered together on vegetation waiting for something to brush past. I barely touched this branch and suddenly my entire arm was covered in hundreds of these microscopic ticks. I got as many as I could off me with tape, drove home 45 minutes violently slapping myself and then scrubbed my skin off in the shower😭.

Is booping a gator's nose safe? Of course not! I do it so often and easily that people actually do ask if it is safe or a "trick", it absolutely is not and they can and do bite people from this position!   This is from five years ago back when I worked in South Florida at holiday park before creating my own animal sanctuary.   #Alligator #animals

Little dragon Mushu! Look how amazing Mushu looks cruising through the water with all his little fishy friends!   Mushu is a Cuvier’s dwarf caiman, the smallest member of the crocodilian family, maxing out around 4–5 feet. Native to forest streams in northern and central South America, they prefer slow moving waters and stay hidden most of the day. Mushu loves hiding under his little log cave and coming out at night to hunt.   Despite their small size, these animals require specialized care, and we strongly discourage keeping any crocodilian species as pets. Sadly, most “pet” crocodilians suffer from deformities and poor welfare due to improper care. (We have longer videos diving into that if you’re curious.)   If you’d like to support Mushu and the other animals here, we appreciate tax-deductible donations via our website: bellowingacres.org 💚 @bellowingacres   ❤️ Help support the sanctuary for free: Like, comment something kind, and share! Every interaction helps us continue caring for these incredible animals.   #DwarfCaiman #animals

Gator feeding in a thunderstorm and talking about back when I was doing gator wrestling shows and had to have body parts precariously close to teeth in the rain!   ~~~Our rescue gators are wild caught nuisance gators that would’ve otherwise been destroyed. Gator tries to eat my head! Bella the bold here went for the headshot! This was during a thunderstorm, but the gators don’t wait for nice weather and I had work to do so I was out in the storm! Unfortunately it made for horrible lighting for the video, but definitely an interaction worth posting since she wasn’t playing around! Also a great reminder that you are more likely to be struck by lightning then killed by an alligator in Florida! Everyone is afraid of the alligators, but not nearly enough. People are afraid of the lightning! ~~~Our rescue gators are wild caught nuisance gators that would’ve otherwise been destroyed.
