After switching labels and joining @Motown Records, Shanice's first single "I Love Your Smile" earned her a @GRAMMYS nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 1992 and peaked at number 2 on the @billboard Hot 100. Acclaimed jazz musician Branford Marselis also features with a saxophone solo that deserves mention. #oldschool #90s #motown #throwback #bhwon

Throwback to 2012, when VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown hit Asbury Park, New Jersey, for the final The Bamboozle music festival, formerly the Skate And Surf Festival. We didn't know it would be the last year at the time, but here's a look back at the music, the atmosphere, and one of the last chapters of an iconic festival era. A 20th anniversary comeback was planned in 2023, but plans fell through last minute. Share any memories you have in the comments and let us know if you'd love to see this festival return. @The All-American Rejects @Incubus @Motion City Soundtrack @Mike Posner #macmiller #2012 #asburypark #countdown #bhwon
