Which media wall design would you choose? That’s always the starting point… because a media wall isn’t just a feature, it completely defines the mood of your room. Some people lean towards deep, dark tones. Think charcoal, black, smoked oak. These create a bold, cinematic feel. The kind of space where you walk in and instantly feel like everything is intentional, clean, and high-end. Perfect for evening lighting, soft LEDs, and that cosy, tucked-away atmosphere. Others go for lighter, softer palettes. Warm neutrals, off-whites, natural wood grains. These open the room up, make it feel calm, balanced, and effortless. It’s the kind of design that works all day, from bright mornings to relaxed evenings, without ever feeling heavy. And then you’ve got everything in between. Two-tone contrasts, feature panels, textured finishes. Every combination creates a completely different energy in the space. Now add a fireplace into the mix and everything changes again. A media wall with a fireplace instantly becomes the focal point of the room. It brings warmth, not just physically but visually. The flame adds movement, depth, and a sense of comfort that you just don’t get from a TV alone. It turns a simple wall into something you actually want to sit around. Without a fireplace, the look is more minimal. Cleaner lines, more architectural. It becomes about precision, symmetry, and detail. The lighting, the shelving, the proportions all have to work harder to create that same impact. That’s where design really matters. Because it’s not just about fitting a TV into a wall. It’s about how the shelves are styled, how the lighting hits each surface, how the materials interact with each other. Matte finishes, subtle grains, soft reflections. Everything plays a part. And the colour options are endless. You can go bold and dramatic. You can go light and calming. You can go warm, cool, textured, smooth, statement or understated. Every choice shifts the entire feel of the room. That’s why no two media walls should ever look the same. So again… which media wall design would you choose?
