After years of hard work, sleepless nights, designing, and debugging, we finally got to watch Europa Clipper take off! This moment holds so much- pride, relief, and definitely tears! After working for years on several NASA missions that have since launched, and now watching Europa Clipper join them, I can say it never gets old to see them go! Europa Clipper is now off on its multi-year journey to Jupiter to investigate this incredible moon Europa which may harbor conditions for life! . . . #latinastiktok #mexicana #latina #womeninstem #spacemom #space #launch #rocket #nasa #europaclipper #hopecore #inspiration #hardwork #nasaengineer #engineer

I took my toddler to his first rocket launch, which is crazy because my first one was in my 20s while I pursued my dream of becoming an Engineer and working in the Space industry. I grew up with the dream that maybe one day this could be possible for me and he is growing up with that reality all around him. Building takes years, but when you can finally see it materialize it is just so beautiful. #nancygraceroman #nasa #rocketlaunch #mom #womeninstem

Ever wondered what it takes to fly hundreds of passengers to their destination? You’d probably be glad to learn it takes LOTS AND LOTS of practice! Here’s a rundown of what it takes to become a commercial pilot. #stem #pilot #flying #pilottraining #flight

I’m currently researching the future of the Moon, preparing for a doctoral presentation, being a mom, and somehow making content in between. This is a little behind-the-scenes look at how I create. For the most part, it’s really nothing too fancy. I like to just follow my curiosity and document what I’m up to in the process by sharing what I learn along the way. Sometimes the best content comes from the things you’re already doing and the things you LOVE doing! Thanks to Microsoft Surface for joining me on this busy day! @Microsoft Surface #SurfacePartner

Coming in as a transfer student to UCLA was one of the most difficult transitions I’ve endured. Not only did I lack stability at the time, I genuinely wasn’t prepared to compete at the same level as some of my peers. They always tell us to focus on ourselves, but when your own success and grade depends on the performance of others, not just your own, it can create one of the most competitively toxic environments to learn in. If you’re currently going through this, I promise you Engineering thrives on collaboration. YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS! #student #stem #engineer #womeninstem #engineeringstudent

Every year, Mother’s Day takes on a different meaning for me. Today I understand so much more about moms, motherhood, and everything that comes with bringing life into the world. I also understand that, as a society, we need to accompany and support women much more. Moms are some of the strongest people that exist, because they will always fight even harder so their children can have a better life. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who care, support, and love every single day. #mothersday #womeninstem #firsttimemom #motherhood #mom

Here is a portion of my speech given at the UN during the Women Breaking Barriers event in NYC. Huge thanks to Rise and the UN Spotlight Initiative. Let’s keep working hard to expand the possibilities for women ahead. #un #women #womeninstem #equality

Asking women at the United Nations what they are fighting for. The resilience of women around the world will always be so inspiring! Tell me in the comments what you are fighting for and how we can help! #activism #unitednations #women #stem #equality
