“Fading to black” has been all about refining the little details—in this particular one it’s the tonal values. Sometimes a few subtle adjustments can completely transform the final result, and I’m much happier with where it’s heading now. I’ve also been quietly working on something behind the scenes that I’m genuinely excited to share. It’s been months in the making, and I think many of you who love charcoal portraiture or want to improve your drawing skills will find it worthwhile. For now, I’ll leave it there. 👀 If you’re not following the page yet, now’s a good time—you won’t want to miss what’s coming next. What do you think of the progress on the portrait so far? #art #drawing #portrait #realism #artist

Feels good to be back on this piece, “Fading To Black”. A few of my last posts have been getting a lot of engagement, particularly because of the paper I’m using. It’s a heavily textured paper that slowly cripples your ability to add natural details to your work 😅. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re just starting to draw, as it can make you lazy 😜. I’m trying to find an online shop for those of you outside of Nigeria, so you can order it directly. Also working on a few other things that might help you all with your art as well. Cheers.

When emotions become difficult to name, and when you’re caught somewhere between holding on and letting go. It’s not always about darkness itself, but about the journey into the unknown and the hope that something new can eventually emerge from it. “Fading to black” Charcoal on paper #art #drawing #portrait #realism #artwork

Been a while since I last shared a piece here. I’ve been up to a couple of things lately and taking on a few challenges. One of them is still stressing me out, honestly 😅 but we’ll get there eventually. Here’s my most recent artwork—a commission I made for a friend. It’s always nice getting back to the basics and just enjoying the process. Charcoal pencil on Strathmore Bristol paper. #drawing #art #artist

My online store is officially open! I wanted to create one place where you can find my original artworks, prints, art resources, and courses. So whether you’ve been looking to own one of my artworks, learn from my courses, or simply support what I do, you can now find everything in one place. There’s also more coming to the store, so this is really just the beginning. The store is now open. You can find the link in my bio. Cheers 😊#art #artwork #drawing

I got these painting brushes + a sketch pad as FREE samples from Temu, so obviously I will be putting them to the test 😂 If you’re into drawing or painting, you might want to check this out. Search: alc620256 on the Temu app to see what’s available. #ads #temu #drawing #art
