This beautiful song was written by @⭐️GoldstarMom_Milita, another Gold Star mother who lost her son, Adam. She is an incredibly talented songwriter who has written and recorded many songs in honor of our service members and the families who carry their memories forward. This is just one of those special songs. She originally wrote it as a badass rock song, and I had the privilege of rearranging it into this acoustic version. I also had the honor of performing it at an event last year. Today, I was reminiscing, taking a little break from training dogs, and felt called to share it again. This song represents the pain that so many families suffer after losing someone they love. It speaks to the heartbreak, the longing, and the love that never dies.
