I couldn't ignore this... I don't normally post about this kind of stuff, but the news this week has been so overwhelmingly heartbreaking that I felt like I had to say something. Whilst I'm supposed to feel "lucky" that I've never experienced something like this, it feels incredibly sad that not experiencing such a thing is something women are expected to feel lucky about in the first place. Maybe I do overthink my safety, probably always will. But these fears are there for a reason 🤍 We need to do better
