After 10 years of drawing pets, it’s still something I never take for granted. Thank you to every person who has trusted me with their beloved pets❤️

When you’re learning to draw with coloured pencils, one of the most confusing parts can be knowing which colours to reach for, especially when you’re faced with so many options. I created this video to show that it’s not about picking the perfect colours. What really matters is getting your tonal values right and how you layer your pencils. You can use different colour combinations like I did here, and still achieve a very similar result. Over time, choosing colours starts to feel much more natural. You begin to trust your eyes, experiment more, and build confidence in your choices. If you’d like to learn more the full tutorial is available over on my Patreon😊
