With the new Shrek movie coming out I just had to rewatch all the old ones and I forgot how iconic the performance of this song by Fairy Godmother is! Jennifer Saunders (who provided both the speaking and singing voice of the character) definitely did Bonnie Tyler justice and hopefully I did as well! Enjoy 😘 - Vocals — Robyn Adele Anderson Keys — Alan Hurtado Bass — Wallace Stelzer Drums — Tom Jorgensen Trombone — Jacob Melsha Trumpet — Michael Sarian - Arranged by Robyn Adele Anderson Mix and Master — Tom Jorgensen Audio — Amrish Mahabir Video – Max Arias Filmed at Smash Studios NYC #music #songs

“Raining Blood” (Slayer) Big Band Jazz Cover by Robyn Adele Anderson - It’s been feeling a little apocalyptic here on the East Coast with all the fire smoke in the air and biblical flooding so this song felt appropriate to cover. It’s raining again today but fortunately it’s just water and not blood (or ash like we had the other day 😳) Enjoy! 🖤 - Vocals — Robyn Adele Anderson Keys — Ben Covello Bass — Wallace Stelzer Drums — Tom Jorgensen Trombone — Jacob Melsha Trumpet — Michel Sarian - Arranged by Robyn Adele Anderson Mix and Master — Tom Jorgensen Audio — Amrish Mahabir Video – Max Arias Filmed at Smash Studios NYC #slayer #rainingbloodslayer #song #music

While this song is called “Raining Blood”, the album it’s from is called “Reign In Blood” and the lyrics do in fact include both “raining blood” and “reign in blood” which you can hear in this second clip 😅 as a word nerd I appreciate a good word play! ☔️🩸/👑🩸 - Vocals — Robyn Adele Anderson Keys — Ben Covello Bass — Wallace Stelzer Drums — Tom Jorgensen Trombone — Jacob Melsha Trumpet — Michel Sarian - Arranged by Robyn Adele Anderson Mix and Master — Tom Jorgensen Audio — Amrish Mahabir Video – Max Arias Filmed at Smash Studios NYC #slayer #rainingbloodslayer #song #music
