Since my husband left me, I’ve honestly never felt more like myself. There’s a peace and freedom in my life now that I didn’t realize I was missing. Was I left with nothing? Yes. Am I struggling financially? Absolutely. But I’m still standing. I’m figuring it out, providing for my kids, handling things on my own, and building a life without depending on anyone else to save me. I have my kids full-time and some weekends, and I’m doing everything I can to give them a good life while rebuilding my own. It hasn’t been easy, but every obstacle has shown me just how capable and independent I really am. I didn’t need someone to carry me. I needed the chance to realize I could carry myself.
