Couple updates… last night I finished up the exhaust and today I’m working on cleaning up the wiring. The main wiring job I need to finish is the O2 harness but I need more info on where the 4th wire goes as the DME plug only has 3 wires for each bank 1 O2 sensor… trying to get everything wrapped up in the next couple weeks. #228i #m54swap #bmw #godrift #manualswap

I’ve narrowed the charging issue down to 3 things… Needs a bigger Alternator… Factory e46 alternator is 120-140 amps, 228i is 220amps Needs a new battery… I think running the battery dead may have killed it since it’s an AGM battery wish I could upgrade it to an @antigravitybatteries but that’s way outside my budget I may have done a boo-boo in the wiring… I’m no electrician so this is a very strong possibility… It’s prolly some combination of all these things which really sucks cuz I was hoping to get a driveshaft and be done… my wallet is already severely hurting so this is NOT GOOD AT ALLL🫩🫩😭😭 #228i #bmw #m54swap #manualswap #chargingissue
