❤️🙏 GOD WATCH PROGRAM — A VISIT THAT TOUCHED OUR HEARTS 🙏❤️ Today, during our mission of love and giving, we also visited Rick Panchan, a man who is unfortunately bedridden after a tragic accident. We went to share some love with him and his family, bringing $400, a hamper, snacks for the children, and juice. ❤️🛍️ But what touched our hearts the most was not what we brought — it was the powerful message Rick shared with us. 🙏❤️ Despite everything he has been through, he is still encouraging others NOT TO GIVE UP, TO KEEP HOPE ALIVE, AND TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD. He reminded us of the young girl who was born without a hand but still wrote her SEA examination using her foot and passed. If that young girl could overcome such a challenge, then we must never allow our circumstances to destroy our hope! Rick's story is a powerful reminder that life can change in a moment, but we must never give up on ourselves. Sometimes, the people going through the greatest struggles are the very ones giving others the strength to keep fighting. ❤️🙏 We may not be able to change everyone's circumstances, but we can show them that they are not forgotten, that they are loved, and that somebody cares. Sometimes, all a brother needs is a little love, encouragement, and a helping hand to keep pushing forward. Recently, I had the pleasure of welcoming my good friend, the calypsonian Saint Nick, and his wife. We sat down, shared a lime, talked, and enjoyed some beautiful music as he picked up his guitar and sang. I was truly impressed by his voice, his talent, and the way he delivered his music. It reminded me of the great legendary Baron! 🎶👏🏽 But beyond the music, there is a bigger message we need to understand as a nation. OUR ARTISTS NEED OUR SUPPORT! Many talented calypsonians and musicians are going through difficult times, struggling behind the scenes while still giving their hearts and souls to the entertainment industry. These are the same people who bring us joy, make us laugh, tell our stories, speak about our struggles, and represent our culture. We cannot wait until an artist becomes famous or passes away before we recognise their worth. Sometimes, a little financial assistance, a meal, a listening ear, or simply showing appreciation can make a tremendous difference in someone's life. When Saint Nick came by, we shared good company, music, conversation, and I was happy . This is what humanity is about — looking out for one another and creating opportunities for people to keep moving forward. Through God Watch Program, we believe that helping people is not only about feeding the hungry or assisting families in need. It is also about recognising talent, uplifting our brothers and sisters, and supporting those who may be struggling silently. Let us support our calypsonians, our chutney artists, our musicians, and the people who keep our culture alive. Don't wait until somebody is down to their last before you show them love. And don't wait until they are gone to celebrate their talent. One hand can help another hand.
