Having your parents handle the decor for your own wedding is definitely a different experience 🫠 There were moments when I wished they weren’t the ones doing it so they could actually relax and enjoy the day with me, but at the same time, I don’t think anyone else could have executed it the way they did. I changed my mind a bunchhhh of times leading up to the wedding and sent my final vision to them very last minute lol, and somehow they still managed to bring it to life better than the inspiration I had shown them. They took every last-minute change, every idea, and every little detail I threw at them and turned it into something that felt even better than what I had pictured. - the ceremony - I decided to skip the traditional nikkah divider and go with an open concept instead. I really wanted to be able to see everything happening around me - everyone’s reactions, the emotions, and all the little moments I would’ve otherwise missed. Looking back, I’m so glad I did. And I’m especially glad I went with such vibrant colours! The florals and decor made the whole space feel so alive and brought everything together perfectly. A huge credit to my parents, who put so much thought, time, and effort into making this all happen.
