This one is so easy and turns a simple nature walk into a fun fall craft. Cut a pumpkin shape from cardboard, add clear tape with the sticky side facing out, and let the kids collect leaves, flowers, and other little treasures to decorate it. It works for kids of all ages too. Little ones can simply stick on whatever they find, while older kids can create patterns and more detailed designs. Every pumpkin turns out completely different! 🎃

Get the free printable template at 7daysofplay.com.   This one’s always a hit with the kids 👻   Print the design, outline it with hot glue, let it dry, and paint inside the raised lines.   The glue basically keeps the paint in the lines—it’s so satisfying to watch!   We used watercolor, but acrylic or tempera work too. Young kids can turn a regular watercolor palette into one giant muddy mess in about 30 seconds 😅🎨 This one has removable paint colors, so you can put out just a few at a time and swap them as needed.
