We were back at Nacre House last month to capture this finished project, but first, here’s a look back at the pre-plaster walkthrough. This was where we walked through our plans with the build and electrical teams, making sure every cable was exactly where it needed to be before the plaster went up, while answering any questions they had along the way. We can’t wait to show you how it all came together. The pre-plaster walk-through with the build and electrical teams ensured every cable was exactly where it needed to be before the walls went up in the master ensuite. Designed to feel like a day spa, our lighting played a quiet but essential role in bringing that vision to life. Of course, layering the light was key. There’s functional light at the mirror and in the shower, while the soft ambient light gently cradles the space, creating a glow that’s perfect for unwinding in the bath. We were so fortunate to be part of such an exceptional build, collaborating with incredible trades and thoughtful design services who brought care and craftsmanship to every detail. The indirect light is doing all the heavy lifting in this living room. Because the ceiling has become a reflector, with light pushing up onto the ceiling, it carries a soft and even layer of light across the space without harsh glare or visual noise. It’s was a deliberate choice shaped by the architecture, with specialist fittings that are tilted into the room so not as much light escapes through the windows above.
