#workout #cardio #fitness #weightloss #consistency Mad appreciation for checking out The Journey of Broken 🤕👨‍🦽2🏋‍♂️🦿💪Bulkin: My journey began in the depths of despair, trapped in the vicious cycle of obesity, depression, and alcoholism. I had lost myself, buried beneath the weight of poor choices and self-doubt. My body had become a 400lb prison, and my mind captivated by alcoholism was no better. For years, I did not realize the mistakes and regrets i was manifesting. At my heaviest, I felt like a shell of who I could have been. But even in the darkest moments, something inside of me continuously whispered that there had to be more to life than this. I just could not find the strength to break free of what held me down. Jan 25, 2021. The moment that would change everything came unexpectedly, in the form of a truck rollover. Police report states i rolled my f250 super duty 300 feet into a field, walked 50 feet from the wreckage til my right femur collapsed on itself, and found face down in the snow by a county officer around 10pm. I was left with multiple (26) broken bones, multiple organ (system) failures, and a life hanging by a thread. After being stuffed with packing to stabilize my inards, i was transferred to the nearest trama center where a month-long coma followed (went in at 400lbs, woke up at 240lb. Lost all my musclekeptall the fat). For a while, it seemed like I might never wake up. When I did, I faced a new battle—recovery. The physical injuries were severe but a broken mentality would be the greater challenge. I had to learn to walk again, to breathe without pain, and, most daunting of all, to believe in myself once more. Slowly, painfully, I pushed forward, using the remnants of the strength I thought I'd lost forever. Through it all, I kept a childhood dream alive—one of becoming the World’s Strongest Man. It seemed impossible, almost laughable at times, given the wreckage my body had endured. But that’s where "Broken to Bulkin" began. Enduring surgery after surgery. Oct 2022 i had my colon put back in place. Jan 2024 i had my abdominal wall reconstructed, and have yet to reconstruct my right oblique (my pelvis shattered where the oblique attached). I also am currently working out with a permanently broken right collar bone and separated left shoulder. Piece by piece, I rebuilt myself, not just in body, but in spirit. The scars of my past—physical and mental—became the fuel for my fire. Today, I chase that dream with relentless determination, proving that no matter how broken you are (mentally and physically), you can rise, rebuild, and even surpass your wildest expectations. This is more than just lifting weights; it's about lifting myself back up from the ashes and refusing to let anything define my limits. Hope this was insightful, and if so please give a like, a sub, and a share to possibly inspire others. Many blessings to you. Much love ✌️ And til all are one 🤘
