Last month, Jarred Albright and I toured the Decho Region of the North West Territories, on tour for the Kole Crook Fiddle Association, and for the next 6 Thursdays, I'll be sharing tunes from that journey here. Be sure to catch last week's video to see all 8 in the series! After a full day of teaching and a slight change in travel plans, during which we were saved by Lj Duford, Sylvester, and our new pal, Joelle, who drove us to the ferry, we arrived in Fort Simpson, NWT, all ready with a nice, old-time tune for you all: Johnny Don't Come Home Drunk. No mosquitoes that day, but they were cheering from the others idea of the windows! We shot this at 10:50 p.m., and we still cannot get over how bright the world was up there! Hope you all enjoy! #fortsimpsonnwt #oldtimefiddle #johnnydontcomehomekrunk
