Really proud to have Stunt Coordinated UNCLE — a gritty British revenge thriller directed by Joe Marcantonio @marcantoniotv Starring Malachi Kirby and Freya Harvey, the film follows an uncle and his teenage niece pulled together on a brutal journey of revenge following the murder of their family. A great project to be trusted with creating and coordinating the action, keeping it raw, grounded and visceral while serving the darker emotional story of the film. Massive shoutout to my stunt team Aaron Gassor @gingerninjatrickster , Tilly Shakesheff @tillyshakesheff , David Bennie @negusdb_stunts and Lloyd Bowen @lloyd.bowen_ — brilliant work from everyone involved and a pleasure having you alongside me on this one. 👊💥 Great to finally see the first look getting out there. Really looking forward to people seeing what we created. 🎬🔥 Stunt Coordinator: Marcus Shakesheff Stunt Team: Aaron Gassor • Tilly Shakesheff • David Bennie • Lloyd Bowen Follow here for write up or click the link in the description— > https://variety.com/2026/film/global/malachi-kirby-lead-uncle-revenge-thriller-first-look-1236853265/ 🐒 @marcusmonkeystunts 💥 @beatemupstunts 🥋 @centurymartialarts — Get 10% OFF with code STUNT100 🌍 @manscaped — Get 20% OFF + FREE Shipping with code STUNT100 #Uncle #UncleMovie #MarcusShakesheff #MarcusMonkeyStunts #BeatEmUpStunts StuntCoordinator StuntTeam BritishStunts BritishStuntRegister MalachiKirby FreyaHarvey ActionDesign FightChoreography FilmStunts PracticalStunts BehindTheScenes BritishFilm UKFilm ActionFilm RevengeThriller StuntLife FilmIndustrySTU

💥 ONE MORE… 💥 Right at the start of lockdown I was training in the garden, drilling corkscrews. I’d already done loads and was pretty much finished for the day, but decided I wanted one more before ending the session. I ran my foot lost friction and slid on the grass. By that point I was already fully committed to the move and there was no way of aborting it. The result, Concussion, memory loss and a Grade 3 shoulder separation. I went to hospital and was told the shoulder required surgery, but because we were right at the beginning of lockdown, I wasn’t able to have the operation. Within about three weeks I was already boxing again and throwing backflips. When lockdown ended I seen the surgeon, my body had adapted to the separation. I was told that considering what I was already capable of doing again, surgery would mean putting me through around nine months of recovery. So we decided to leave it. It definitely has its downsides. I can’t comfortably wear really heavy clothing. If a coat gets soaked and becomes too heavy, I have to take it off because of the pressure on the shoulder. I can’t sleep on my left side, I can’t fully hang from that arm, and even something as simple as opening a door can occasionally give me that horrible feeling that my shoulder is coming apart. This is also part of the reality of being a stunt performer and having a physical career. Social media tends to show the glamorous side — the finished stunt, the big film, the cool location, the explosions and the shot that makes the final edit. What you don’t always see are the injuries, operations, rehabilitation, pain and the things you sometimes end up living with long after a job or training session has finished. There are risks involved in doing this for a living. We train and rehearse to manage those risks as much as possible, but when you spend your career pushing yourself physically, occasionally things go wrong. The human body is pretty incredible at adapting, though. Years later I’m still training, fighting, flipping and doing the job I love. And I learned one particularly important lesson. Don’t do “one more.” 😂🤦‍♂️ 🥋 @centurymartialarts — 10% OFF with code STUNT100

💥 THE WITCHER – SEASON 4 | STUNT TEST 💥 Behind the scenes of a stunt test for The Witcher Season 4, with Phoebe and Chelsea working through a back snatch, jerk, jerk snatch into the mat. This is the work that happens before the cameras roll — breaking the gag down, testing the timing and reactions, and refining every beat until the movement hits exactly as it should. Great work from Phoebe @phoebe_rodrigues and Chelsea, committing to the test and making the action look hard while keeping everything controlled and repeatable. 👊🔥 Stunt Coordinator: Marcus Shakesheff @marcusmonkeystunts Assistant Stunt Coordinators: Vincent Wang @vincentwangstunts Ben Essex Action Designer: Chris Cowan @rivenx3i Fight Coordinator: Lu @lu_junchang Another little look behind the curtain at the preparation that goes into creating the action for The Witcher. Proud of the team and the work behind every hit, throw and reaction. 🥋 10% OFF Century Martial Arts gear — use code STUNT100 @centurymartialartseurope 🧼 20% OFF + FREE shipping at MANSCAPED — use code STUNT100 @manscaped — #TheWitcher #TheWitcherSeason4 #StuntTest #BehindTheScenes
