This brand new Airbnb is hosted by the SWEETEST family, and from the minute we arrived, they made us feel like family rather than guests. The host even took us on a little island tour, showed us Villa Beach and took us on a lil boat ride to secluded Young Island. They were so accommodating that asking for anything never felt like a burden. We exchanged food, shared company, played pool with their son Kobi and when I decided to risk it all and try some Ital food instead of trying to make it to the airport in time, they even let me stay an extra night. With all the running around and prep for Ital Fest, I was so happy to have that extra day to actually slow down and enjoy St Vincent. Honestly, I was getting ready to ask if they wanted to adopt me fr fr 😂. I always feel so lucky to meet some great people! If you want somewhere that feels homely, has genuinely lovely hosts and gives you the chance to experience St. Vincent beyond just your accommodation, Bell-Marie is DEFO one to save! Casuarina Grande #8, Mullins, Barbados West Coast 🌴 West Coast living, beach down the road, pool right outside… yeah, this one understood the assignment. Tucked between Gibbes and Mullins and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, this modern lower-floor apartment is ideal for couples. Surrounded by greenery, you’ve got your own little garden escape with direct access to the pool, and it was so quiet during my stay it felt like I had it to myself. Inside, you’ve got a fully equipped kitchen, loads of storage, AC, a cosy living space, washer and dryer and a HUGE shower because tiny showers are simply not the vibe 🫠. There’s also a communal rooftop with plenty of seating, perfect for a BBQ, good food and catching sunset. The hosts were genuinely lovely and always on hand if I needed anything, and being walking distance from Mullins Beach was the cherry on top. A little dip, a deputy and sunset? Yes plsss.
