📷 Fun fact: The prominent chipped tooth that Jim Carrey's character, Lloyd Christmas, has in Dumb & Dumber (1994) was not a special effect. Carrey had actually chipped his tooth years earlier and simply had the cap removed for the role, believing it would make his character look more deranged and add to the comedy.

📷 Fun fact: Although the beloved 90s Moomin animated series introduced the characters to a global audience, the original creator, Tove Jansson, was famously unhappy with some of the domestic details. She particularly disliked that the Moominhouse was often shown with things like curtains and flower-patterned wallpaper, feeling it made the free-spirited, bohemian Moomins seem too conventional and bourgeois, which contradicted the core philosophy of her books. #moomin #clips

📷 Fun fact: To create the illusion of size difference between the Hobbits and taller characters in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, director Peter Jackson primarily used a clever, old-school camera trick called forced perspective, not CGI. Actors playing Hobbits would be positioned much further away from the camera than actors like Ian McKellen (Gandalf). To sell the effect, they often built two versions of props (like tables and chairs) at different scales, so it would seem as though the characters were sitting right next to each other in the same room. #clips #lordoftherings

📷 Fun fact: Family Guy Season 19 (2020–2021) marks the final season where the character of Cleveland Brown was voiced by his original actor, Mike Henry. In June 2020, just before the season premiered, Henry, who is white, announced he was stepping down from the role so that a Black actor could voice the character, a decision which was part of a larger shift in the animation industry. The new voice actor, Arif Zahir, took over the role in Season 20. #familyguy #stewiegriffin #clips

📷 Fun Fact: SpongeBob SquarePants – Season 3, Episode 31: "Plankton's Army" (2004) This episode is the first time the show introduces Plankton's massive family, revealing that he has dozens of hillbilly-style relatives who are all, fittingly, plankton. The creative team decided to give these tiny characters generic, everyday human names like Rufus, Clem, and Zeke, creating a hilarious and ironic contrast between their microscopic size and their very ordinary, down-to-earth names. #spongebob #clips

📷 Fun Fact: Mr. Deeds (2002) The fictional town of Mandrake Falls in the film was actually filmed in a real town in Connecticut called New Milford. The producers were looking for an "old-fashioned, New England-type" town close to New York and found it to be the perfect setting. In fact, a real building in New Milford was used for the exterior of Deeds's pizzeria, which was made to look like the pizza shop in Mandrake Falls. #mrdeeds #clips

📷 Fun fact: Despite the overwhelmingly negative critical reception of Passion Play (2010), legendary actor and co-star Mickey Rourke had immense praise for Megan Fox's performance. In several interviews, he called her "the best young actress I've ever worked with" and commended her professionalism and talent, a sentiment that stood in stark contrast to the film's reviews.

📷 Fun fact: In the original comic book series that The Boys (TV Series 2019– ) is based on, the character of "Wee" Hughie Campbell was drawn by the artist to look exactly like British actor Simon Pegg. By the time the TV show was created over a decade later, Pegg was too old to play the part, so in a perfect piece of meta-casting, he was hired to play Hughie's dad instead.
