We invite the community to join us as we honor three individuals whose leadership, mentorship, and commitment to youth have left a lasting impact on Boston basketball and beyond. Al Kinnett (Posthumously) — A Roxbury pillar whose work at the John A. Shelburne Recreation Center and support of the Boston Shootout helped create safe, structured spaces where young people could grow through sport and mentorship. Carnell Suttles — Cathedral High School alumnus and legendary head coach who returned the program to glory, leading it to multiple championships while mentoring generations of young men on and off the court. Tony Richards Sr. — Founder of No Books No Ball and longtime leader at the Roxbury YMCA, whose vision tied academic accountability to athletic opportunity, changing countless lives in the process. These honorees represent the very best of community-centered leadership. We hope you’ll join us in showing appreciation, celebrating their impact, and helping us give them their well-deserved flowers. 🌹 #Leadership #CommunityImpact #YouthDevelopment #BostonBasketball #GiveThemTheirFlowers
