On Thursday, we came across this note left by a Pacific Palisades homeowner with instructions on how to protect their home. The house was saved, and the crew from Apple Valley left their reply: "We got you." When we found them, they had just put out another spot fire while protecting nearby homes. These firefighters work 24-hour shifts, but often push to 36 hours to keep up with demand. We asked them about the note—here’s what they had to say. #PalisadesFire #Firefighters #WeGotYou #communityheroes
