After more than a decade at Western, including the last 9 as president, Roger Stanford is signing off. But not before one final handoff. Today marks Roger’s last day at Western, and while it’s hard to sum up his impact in a social media post, his legacy can be seen throughout our college, our community, and most importantly, in the lives of the students we serve. We’re grateful for Roger’s leadership, his steady commitment to Western, and the many relationships he has built along the way. As Roger heads into retirement and Kirk Bennett begins his time as Western’s eighth president, they teamed up for one last message. Thank you for everything, Roger. We wish you all the best in retirement — and don’t be a stranger!

reading "How to Read a Book" is a flex tbh Welcome to Western, President Kirk Bennett! Drop your La Crosse fly fishing recommendations in the comments #WesternTC #LaCrosseWI #CollegeLife #CavalierFamily #Wisconsin Visual Description: The video features Dr. Kirk Bennett—a bald man with glasses, a beard, a red polo shirt, and a black vest—speaking outdoors on Western Technical College's campus against a blurred backdrop of trees and campus buildings. Framed in a medium close-up, the footage uses rapid jump cuts and animated caption text accompanied by dark lower-third banners displaying topic headings such as "MEET THE NEW WESTERN PRESIDENT," "ON EXPLORING THE AREA," and "THE COFFEE ORDER." High-energy meme graphics periodically interrupt the shot, including a sudden zoom-in with giant "BRUH" text stamped across his forehead, a "Let him cook" banner, a "hehe boi..." text overlay, and oversized shaking text reading "SIX" and "SEVEN." The video ends with the screen darkening as the animated white Western Technical College logo overlays a final frame of Dr. Bennett laughing.
