Sugar no longer exists in our home, so to satiate our sweet tooths one night after dinner, I threw something together with what we had in our fridge and it ended up being unbelievably delicious. Bonus points because we didn't feel like big flubber blobs afterward, which is usually how we feel after a high sugar dessert! Recipe (roughly because I don't measure things): * 1.5C heavy cream, organic preferred * 2TBSP pure organic maple syrup (it haaaas to be 100% pure otherwise it's packed full of gross ingredients that defeats the purpose of the guilt-free dessert) * 1 large tsp cinnamon Blend it all with a hand mixer until it gets fluffy and serve over a berry medley. I used strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. To be clear, pure maple syrup does have sugar! But it's not added sugar since it's naturally dervied. Its glycemic index is about 1/3 lower than cane sugar, but to be clear, it still technically has "sugar", it's just all natural and not added. And there are absolutely nooooo additional ingredients in pure maple syrup. So overall a better choice than traditional sugar, imo. #healthy #dessert #healthydessert #sweettooth #cutekitchen #strawberry #blueberry #blackberry #dessertideas #fruit #maplesyrup #whippedcream #sugar #cookwithme #bakewithme #kitchenideas #dessertideas #fyp

3 years of owning this beautiful home we rebuilt from the ground up, and every year gets better ❤️ This year was MONUMENTAL. We finally moved in, finished the septic system, finished the water system, finished the bathroom, did lots of painting and decorating, unfortunately said goodbye to our 15 year old family member, Kitty, got a new couch (the Lowell set from @costco ), and went on our honeymoon, among many other things! I sincerely believe we will never be finished 😂 but im ok with that. We have poured our lives and our hearts into this home, and it's been worth every moment, every penny, and every sacrifice. I look around my home sometimes and think to myself how incredibly blessed we are to live here, and how insanely talented my wonderful husband is. I cant wait to see what we accomplish in year 4! #home #homeowner #diy #diyhome #construction #homeconstruction #handyman #vintagehome #vintagestyle #beautifulhomes #cottagehomes #cottagestyle #cottagecore #cottageinthewoods #homeswithcharacter #classichome #homedecor #homedecorideas #bathroomdesign
