HHI, you did it again. 🌴🌊🤍 This Hilton Head vacation was exactly what we didn’t know we needed. We rode bikes, chased little crabs on the beach, explored pieces of Lowcountry history, made our own candles, ate some GOOD food, watched the sunsets, laughed until our sides hurt and spent time just being us. And yes… we missed our grands like crazy. 😂❤️ There were so many times we caught ourselves saying, “The kids would LOVE this!” But maybe that was part of what made this trip so special. After 37 years of marriage, life can get busy. Work schedules, kids, grandkids, responsibilities and everything waiting for you back home can make it easy to forget that before all of that… there was us. HHI gave us time to slow down and find that again. ❤️ No big agenda. No rushing from one thing to another. Just bike rides, saltwater, sandy feet, exploring together and making memories with my favorite person. We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years, but somehow every trip gives us a different memory to bring home. There’s vacation… and then there’s coming back to a place that feels a little like home. 🌴🌊🤍 For the past 11 years, Hilton Head Island has been that place for us. And every single time we come back, I remember exactly why we fell in love with it. This trip brought us back to Bluewater by Spinnaker, and once again, it did NOT disappoint. ❤️ There’s just something about pulling onto Hilton Head and immediately feeling yourself slow down. The palm trees, salty air, bike rides, marina views, beautiful sunsets and that laid-back Lowcountry feeling—it gets me every time. After 11 years, we’ve made so many memories on this island. Different seasons of our lives, different adventures and plenty of “remember when…” stories. Yet somehow, HHI still gives us something new to love every time we come. And Bluewater feels like the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring—or honestly, to spend the whole day and never leave. 🌴 11 years of coming to HHI and still never disappointed. Some places you visit once and check off your list. And some places keep calling you back.
