This amazing vintage shop in Ridgefield CT is also serving up some amazing coffee and selling cute merch☕️ Ridgefield vintage and coffee is a surprisingly big store that has clothes, shoes, accessories, books and more. Their inventory is very carefully curated and they source from estate sales as well as accept some donations. They had an amazing men’s section which isn’t always the case in thrift stores. They have some merch of their own that was very cute and well priced as well🧥 Plus, they have a second hand bookshop in the building as well. @Massi Co in Westport is my new favorite Italian spot in CT I started out with the Cosa Nostra to drink and it had blood orange, basil, and lime Let’s skip ahead to the start of the show, the Radiatore. It was a spicy vodka sauce with nduja sausage and massive dollops of whipped ricotta. Each piece of pasta was huge and reminded me of a honeycomb or lasagna. It was creamy, spicy and smoky and it was the best pasta dish I’ve had all year🍝 The Tre color pizza had red sauce, vodka sauce and pesto with one of my new favorite cheeses, fior di latte. Crust was great and the sauces married together perfect🍕 The Polpette was a meatball with dry aged beef, pork and veal and had both pomodoro and fontina cheese. They were so soft and fell apart in my mouth. The Ceasar salad was a more citrusy dressing compared to a creamy so that was really nice and fresh🥗 The Tiramisu had a walnut base instead of lady fingers. Rowayton seafood in Norwalk sits right on a marina and gives the ultimate summer New England vibe🛥️ You have to start with the frose. It’s Rose, vodka , strawberry and lime and just super refreshing and fitting for the scene. I can’t recommend the Chowder Fries enough as an appetizer. It’s basically clam chowder over fries and it’s truthfully unbelievable. But, if you want something lighter you can’t go wrong with the tomato burrata salad🍅 The halibut special is probably the best thing I’ve ever had from here. The risotto was perfectly done, the fish was flaky and the red pepper puree was nice and acidic. The Barramundi Milanese is a classic and the fish is always nice and crisp. I prefer a hot lobster roll but, my mom opted for a cold one🦞 This is the perfect spot on a nice summer day and you must go check it out!
