The best summer days always include a good wind to get rid of the bugs, and some rubber boots. #alaska #inupiaq #anaktuvukpass #nature

Summer memories. Watercolor and acrylic gouache. My favorite themes to return to with my art are a woman’s hair, plants and dancing. #inupiaq #illustration #dancing #alaska #anaktuvukpass

Just as I sat down to work on a story featuring a red fox and raven, my dog went nuts and when I went to investigate I found a red fox hiding and waiting in the snow outside. He had realized that my makeshift bird feeder attracted rabbits. The interesting part is the raven at the end helping me run him off. #alaska #indigenous #stories #redfox #raven
