I completely understand about the nostalgia and the complaints are coming from about the Shrek 5 style, but I wanna talk about why people are treating this like Ugly Sonic, which doesn’t make sense production wise. #shrek #shrek5 #dreamworksanimation #notmyshrek #alfredbasicallytalksanimation

I gave the live-action Moana a chance. I thought the VFXs were incredible (especially the “You’re Welcome” sequence) and Catherine Laga’aia is fantastic as Moana. But it’s The Lion King remake all over again. The push for photorealism stripes the life on what makes the animated movie so beloved. Decent, but flawed 6.3/10 for me. #MoanaRemake #DisneyRemakes #FilmAnalysis #MoanaDisney #alfredbasicallytalksanimation
