👑On March 3 (February 21, Old Style), 1613, the new Tsar, Mikhail Feodorovich Romanov, was officially elected. On May 12, Mikhail Feodorovich made his ceremonial entry into Moscow, and on July 21, 1613, he was crowned in the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. According to some historians, the Cossacks, who were becoming an influential social force during this period, played a decisive role in Mikhail Romanov's election. A movement arose among the servicemen and Cossacks, centered on the Moscow courtyard of the Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius, and its active instigator was the monastery's cellarer, Avraamy Palitsyn, a figure of considerable influence among both the militia and Muscovites. At meetings attended by cellarer Avraamy, it was decided to proclaim 16-year-old Mikhail Feodorovich, the son of Rostov Metropolitan Filaret, captured by the Poles, as tsar. His election marked a turning point: the country began to emerge from the Time of Troubles, and the process of restoring and strengthening statehood began. From this moment began the history of one of the most influential and long-lasting dynasties in Russian history—the Romanovs, who ruled the country for over 300 years until the monarchy was overthrown in 1917. The Romanovs came to power during difficult times, but managed not only to preserve the country but also to transform it into a powerful empire, leaving an indelible mark on world history👑 ~tags~@𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒂 @-ˋˏ ༻𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧༺ ˎˊ- @𓂃𓂂◌🎻⚜️🌷◌˳𓇬 @mary @𝑆𝑜' 🎀༘⋆ @☦︎ 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝒾 ☦︎ @𝒶.
The Grand Duke's Fronde was an opposition movement of 15 Grand Dukes of the House of Romanov against Nicholas II in 1916–1917. The informal leader of the Fronde was considered to be GD Nikolai Mikhailovich Romanov, a Freemason nicknamed Philippe Égalité for the radicalism of his views. On December 2, 1916, Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich, on behalf of the Romanov Family Council, demanded that the Tsar introduce a constitution. The Fronde's main demands were the removal of Grigory Rasputin, the "German Tsarina" Alexandra Feodorovna, and Germans in general from government, and the introduction of a "responsible ministry"—that is, a government accountable to parliament. The Grand Dukes justified the need to overthrow the Tsar by citing the interests of "saving the monarchy." The Tsar, predictably, refused. Essentially, it was a coup. On December 16, 1916, Rasputin was assassinated. After this, the "grand ducal rebellion" intensified even further. "A few days later, the Tsar brought to the Empress's room a letter from Princess Yusupova, intercepted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, addressed to Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna. Briefly, the letter read as follows: 'She (Yusupova), as a mother, is, of course, saddened by her son's situation, but "Sandro" (Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich) saved the day; she only regretted that on that day they DIDN'T FINISH THEIR JOB AND REMOVE EVERYONE WHO SHOULD HAVE... Now all that remains is to lock "HER" up.' After this matter is concluded, they will probably exile Nikolai and Stana (GD Nikolai Nikolaevich and his wife, GD Anastasia Nikolaevna) to their estate in Pershino... How stupid that they exiled poor Nikolai Mikhailovich!" The Tsar said that all this was so vile that he was disgusted to deal with it. The Empress, however, understood everything. She sat pale, staring ahead with wide eyes..." At the same time, S.V. Markov wrote: "This morning, Sh. learned from a friend of his who served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a person worthy of his complete trust, that an assassination attempt was being prepared against Empress Alexandra Feodorovna in late February or early March. A large reward was promised to anyone who agreed to carry out this hellish plan." On December 22, 1916, the French ambassador, Maurice Paléologue, wrote in his diary: "This evening I learned that there is great anxiety and unrest in the Romanov family. Several grand dukes, including the three sons of Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna—Kirill, Boris, and Andrei—are talking about nothing less than saving Tsarism through a palace coup. With the help of four guards regiments, whose loyalty has already been shaken, they will march on Tsarskoye Selo by night; they will capture the Tsar and Tsarina; they will convince the Emperor of the necessity of abdicating; they will imprison the Empress in a monastery; and then they will proclaim the heir, Alexei, as Tsar, under the regency of Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaevich. The initiators of this plan believe that Grand Duke Dmitry's involvement in Rasputin's murder makes him the most suitable executor, capable of swaying the troops. His cousins, Kirill and Andrei Vladimirovich, came to him at his palace on Nevsky Prospect and urged him with all his might to "conclude the task of national salvation." After a long struggle with his conscience, Dmitry Pavlovich ultimately refused to "raise his hand against the emperor." ~tags~@-ˋˏ ༻𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧༺ ˎˊ- @𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒂 @mary @𝑆𝑜' 🎀༘⋆ @☦︎ 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝒾 ☦︎ @𝒶. @alice @Romaline🦢 #romanov #history #история #романовы #fyp
💔 All around me was treason, cowardice, and deceit💔 The Russian Empire was a prosperous and prosperous country, a miracle of unprecedented, powerful growth in all spheres and a steady rise in the population's standard of living. By 1917, the country was on the brink of victory and becoming the most powerful military and economic power in the world. In March 1917, the Tsar's removal from the throne was greeted with general delight. The common people thought the war would soon end and a new, bright life, free from sorrow and grief, would begin. Instead, a senseless and merciless Russian revolt erupted in Russia, which triumphed, ushering in the Red Troubles. As early as mid-January 1917, the Tsar, recognizing the need to maintain order in the capital during wartime, ordered General M.V. Alekseyev, Chief of Staff of the Stavka, to recall the 1st Guards Cavalry Division from the front to Petrograd. The order was not carried out. The freemason Alekseyev was involved in the conspiracy against the Tsar, one of the main players in forcing the Emperor to abdicate. On February 22, the Tsar left for Headquarters at the telegraphic request of General Alekseyev, unaware of the urgent matter requiring his presence. Essentially, General Alekseyev tricked the Tsar into coming to Headquarters. On February 22, the imperial train departed Tsarskoye Selo and arrived in Mogilev on February 23. On February 25, two days late, Headquarters learned of the outbreak of unrest in the capital. After reading a telegram from S.S. Khabalov, the Emperor ordered him to suppress the unrest with military force: "I command that the unrest in the capital be stopped tomorrow. It is unacceptable in this difficult time of war with Germany and Austria. NICHOLAS." That same day, the Tsar issued a decree to the Governing Senate dissolving the State Duma. On February 26, M.V. Rodzianko began pressuring the Tsar from Petrograd. The fateful day of March 2/15 arrived. During the night, General Ruzsky ordered a halt to the dispatch of loyal troops to Petrograd to suppress the rebellion. A similar order was issued from Headquarters by General Alekseyev. Upon learning that the Tsar's train had been delayed in Pskov, the Empress wrote to His Majesty: "And you, alone, without an army behind you, caught like a mouse in a trap, what can you do?" In essence, the Tsar was already arrested in Pskov. At 10:00 AM, Alekseyev sent telegrams to all front commanders urging the Tsar to abdicate. By 2:30 AM, replies had arrived: the senior commanders of the active army asked the Tsar to abdicate "for the good of the Motherland," "the salvation of Russia," and "victory over the external enemy." They all betrayed their military honor and the duty of their oath. After reviewing the telegrams, at 3:00 a.m. the Emperor decided to sign the abdication of the Russian throne in favor of his son, with his brother, Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich, acting as regent. Count Frederiks, Minister of the Court who witnessed this scene, later recalled in a conversation with M.E. Kreinmichel that in the Tsar's moment of hesitation, Ruzsky "...jumped up and, placing his pistol on his holster, nervously shouted: 'Sign, sign! Don't you see that you have no other choice?! If you don't sign, I cannot vouch for your life!'" In his exile in Tobolsk, the Tsar told those close to him: "God does not abandon me. He gives me the strength to forgive all my enemies and tormentors, but I cannot overcome myself in one thing: I cannot forgive Adjutant General Ruzsky." On March 2, 1917, Nicholas Alexandrovich sent a telegram to State Duma Chairman M.V. Rodzianko declaring his consent to abdicate. "There is no sacrifice I would not make for the true good and salvation of Russia. Therefore, I am prepared to abdicate in favor of my son, with my brother Mikhail acting as regent💔 @-ˋˏ ༻𝐣𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧༺ ˎˊ- @𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒂 @𝑆𝑜' 🎀༘⋆ @☦︎ 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝒾 ☦︎ @Romaline🦢 #romanov #романовы #николай2 #history #fyp
