Distractions can look just like opportunities. The more skills you gain on your journey to build a business, the harder it is to stay focused on that business because so many opportunities will start to present themselves. Many people have brought me ideas and partnerships in good faith because they just know I would do so well in that specific area, you could make so much money this way, this is perfect for you. Most times, I agree 100% that I could be super successful in whatever endeavor they mention. However, my biggest lesson has been understanding the power of “No”. Being able to look at someone else’s business, learn about a new field and ponder different ideas while still not taking a single moment to consider removing any focus from what I am currently pursuing. I have been pursuing entrepreneurship for nearly 7 years and the fact that I am in the middle of my highest earning year NOW after finally having this click, says a lot. I now find comfort in the fact that there are a lot of ways to make money in general and plenty of ways for me in particular (same for you) but I only need ONE to achieve the success I desire. Choose one. Everything else is a distraction. #entrepreneurship
