What if the resurrection is not less physical—but more? Not a retreat from embodiment, but its transformation. Not a ghostly survival, but a deeper, fuller mode of life. C. S. Lewis invites us to imagine a world in which what we call “solid” is not the highest form of reality. And if that is true, then Easter is not only about what happened to Jesus— but about what has begun to happen to the world. #CSLewis #Easter #resurrection #resurrectionofthelord #biblestudy

Sunday’s Preaching Text: Haggai 2. When the exiles returned from Babylon, they rebuilt their own homes—but left God’s temple in ruins. Into this moment steps Haggai, a prophet who wastes no words. He names their neglect for what it is: a renewal of the covenant rebellion that once sent them into exile. The drought, the failed harvests, the economic hardship weren’t accidents—they were signs that the people had placed comfort ahead of covenant. Yet Haggai also brings hope. His message stirs Zerubbabel, Joshua, and the entire remnant into action. He calls them to see their small efforts as part of God’s far greater future—the coming glory, the nations shaken, the peace to come. Even a modest, half-built temple matters when God is in its midst. Haggai summons every generation to the same clarity: Put God first. Rebuild the life of worship. Trust the promises. Take courage—God is with you. #Haggai #MinorProphets #HebrewBible #OldTestament #BibleStudy

saiah spoke into an eighth-century political crisis, yet his vision exceeded his own moment. The darkness deepened. Exile came. The promise of light remained open. By placing Isaiah’s words in Galilee of the nations, Matthew recognizes that the long-awaited reversal Isaiah foresaw is finally beginning—not at the center of power, but in a borderland shaped by loss, mixture, and shadow. This is not back-reading. It is canonical faithfulness. Isaiah spoke more than he could see. Matthew dares to say: now it begins to come into view. The light has dawned. #Isaiah9 #Matthew4 #BiblicalTheology #CanonicalReading #biblestudy
