I heard so much more Rubber Soul today than usual at John’s birthday celebration… so fun to sing these in the best crowd after enjoying the new mix and release from a week ago!! This is the best gathering I’ve been to — so good we were playing until well past midnight 🫣 peace and love happy autumn and happy birthday John! 🤍 #thebeatles #johnlennon #rubbersoul #beatles #strawberryfields

To hear memories of George directly from Olivia tonight was breathtaking. What a beautiful evening of stories, poems, laughs and love all for George. This video was taken at the very end where she shared a closing poem to the audience: “These images take me not only behind his Pentax Viewfinder, but into his mind’s eye, His third eye and beyond I am there by his side as he focused the camera and chose when to let in the light I can linger beside him as he stopped time with each squeeze of the shutter, And it fills me with joy” In the audience: Tom Hanks, Elvis Costello oh and some random guy who was in a few of the photos named Paul McCartney… we missed seeing him exit outside by just 5 minutes! The event was only about an hour and was just enough to create such a great introduction to this book. She also mentioned Ringo and Paul’s previous photo books from the same era, and in some of the photos she remembered how Paul has the same moment captured from his angle in Eyes of the Storm. Someone needs to gather these photos together! I am just so grateful to go to an event for specifically George, it’s pretty rare and it’s very lovely that Olivia and Martin made the trip out here tonight. Always so grateful to be here in new york. Peace and love peace and love ✌️💜☮️💜 #georgeharrison #thebeatles #beatles #thethirdeye #oliviaharrison
