Learning to sing in a new language is a whole process. 🎶 • First: get the lyrics + a Swedish-friendly phonetic version. • Then: listen to the song over and over again — or get a slow voice recording from a native speaker. • Copy the pronunciation until the words start to feel natural in my mouth, word by word. • Try to find ways how to remember different words by associating. • Then add the speed, melody and rhythm. • And finally… memorize EVERYTHING by heart. 😅 Because when I’m on stage, there are no papers in front of me. I need to know the words, pronunciation, melody and order — while still being able to dance, connect with the crowd and be free on stage. But when you succeed and see the reaction in the crowd and hear how people appreciate the effort and most of all when they understand the message of the songs, it’s worth it all! So much work happens behind the scenes before a song looks effortless on stage. I’ve now done 6 out of 8 songs. 🙌🏽 Festival start next week 7-11 of October If you speak Portuguese and don’t think my version is good enough, bare with me I’m still perfecting it until next week
