Today, we proudly celebrate Dr. Jacqueline Edem Dorleku on the successful completion of her PhD in Special Education from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Her achievement is not just a personal milestone; it is a testament to perseverance, academic excellence, family legacy and dedicated service to education. Dr. Dorleku, daughter of the former Principal of St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe, Mr. Dorleku, has steadily built an inspiring academic and professional journey. In 2013, she obtained her MPhil in Special Education, laying a strong foundation for her continued pursuit of excellence. Around 2017, she joined the Education Department of the College as a lecturer following her appointment by the then Principal, Mr. R. K. K. Kwashie. Since then, she has continued to contribute meaningfully to the training and development of educators. Her pursuit of knowledge took her to the University of South Africa, where she enrolled for a PhD in Special Education—a journey she has now successfully completed. Today, she serves as the STS Coordinator of St. Francis College of Education, Hohoe combining her academic expertise with leadership and service to education. Dr. Jacqueline Edem Dorleku, congratulations on this remarkable achievement! Your journey reminds the entire OFA Community that excellence is not an event but a process—built through discipline, perseverance, service and an unwavering commitment to learning. May this new chapter bring even greater opportunities to impact the field of Special Education and inspire the many educators and students who look up to you.
