I finished this back in April-ish but forgot to share. It’s my favorite thing ever. I made it to carry all my hand-sewing stuff and took it to the beach lots this year, and of course I covered it in hand-stitched patches. This is my new alternative method to make EPP hexies—a quilting style where traditionally individual hexagons are hand-sewn together. Some may prefer the original method, but I wanted to experiment and find a way that works best for me. The printable file is something I created myself; IF others are interested, I will work on publishing it, but wanted to gauge interest levels first since it’s a more intricate cut and not sure if there is actually much demand for it. #applique #quilttutorial #sewinghacks #EPPquilt #hexiequilts

I’ve been missing the constantly evolving appliqué work that I did on my sewing caddy, so I made a quilted canvas tote. I’ll definitely add a longer strap at some point, but was so excited to get around to the patchwork and appliqué.
